Bringing out the big cannons now I see-- a disgraced former Presidential candidate who was caught openly cheating on his wife after daring the press to follow him.
I don't think many people care what he and his imaginary "moderate Republican" friends think. And, his point that the military is against Bush is laughable.

I bet I have more Democrat relatives voting for GWB than Hart has Republican friends voting for Kerry.

The only "poll" Gary Hart needs to criticize is his own...it certainly got him into enough trouble!

Note to the Dems: Gary Hotpants is not what I'd call a good character reference.

Here is a short Bio page on Bob Dole's service:
http://www.bobdole.org/bio/wwII.php
After I read it, it was very easy to understand his comments, not that I was questioning him before. It is a very interesting quick read.
I work in West Palm Beach and I have a friend who feels the polls are wrong based on his circle of associations. I had to take him to a map and show him we are here, which is mostly democratic and this is the rest of the country. I used www.electoral-vote.com and he was pretty depressed for the rest of the day. hehehe

I think the polls are worthless as well, and my opinion rests on the same basis as Gary Hart's...my own bias and intuition. I have no facts to back up my opinion. I believe that Bush is actually much farther ahead than the reported polls indicate.

I agree, the polls are wrong, Bush is leading by a much larger margin than they indicate.

Hart's 10 RHINO friends will not be voting for Bush!
And that's going to make him lose?
LOL!

noting that many of his moderate Republican friends have assured him privately they'll not be voting for Bush.I wonder if he met with these "moderate Republican friends" in the same restaurants where Kerry was meeting with the shadowy "foreign leaders"...

Yes, Gary Hart the expert. He was George McGovern's campaign manager and we all know what a well run campaign that was.

Why is Hart against Bush?
Hart's magnum opus (The Patriot Act) was enacted by the Bush administration. One would think Hart wouls appreciate having his work being the centerpiece of a Republican Administration's policy. (Goes for co-author Andrew Young, too.)
Perhaps Hart would Rather have Kerry using the powers in the Patriod Act.
