He was wounded, he received two surgeries and was only out trying to enjoy some music when he was hit, thrown to the ground, kicked and beaten unconscious. This was the greeting a 19-year-old soldier received from his countrymen while on medical leave from Iraq, according to a report by the Columbus Dispatch.

That's sickening. Too bad he didn't have half a dozen of his unit there. It'd have been a completely different outcome. First the lefties won't attack strength so it probably would have never happened and second if it had, it wouldn't have been a private who ended up in the hospitol.
I hope they find who did this so they can get some time in the clink.

Follow up to yesterdays story.
GROVE CITY, Ohio -- A local soldier and his family have received an outpouring of support from across the country since NBC 4 first aired a story about being beaten at a local concert, NBC 4's Nancy Burton reported.
Foster Barton, 19, of Grove City, said that hearing from so many people makes him realize he and his fellow soldiers have a lot of support, and that one single act of violence should not take away from that.
Barton said his nose still hurts, but the support he received through phone calls and e-mails is helping him heal.
"It's been incredible," Barton said. "The phone has not stopped ringing."

Well, I surely hate the people who did this to him. This is the thanks an American gets for strapping it on to defend the rest of us? I refuse to repeat the sixties.
President Bush needs to meet with this brave hero and on National TV address this issue.

There is a rift, and it is growing.
The left better hope we don't start hitting back.
When John Kerry returned from Vietnam he was able to turn tens of thousands of people into just this type of monster.
And he was able to do it because no body did anything to stop them. VVAW had only 8,500 members, think about that for a second, 8,500 members. No one did anything to stop them from throwing sh*t on our troops and calling them baby killers.
Something must be done to stop this now!
