"Whenever I can, I prefer to do nothing," he said. "I understand the slacker mentality. I'm on tour for the next 35-40 days, and we're calling it the 'Slacker Uprising' tour."

Hmmm. Slackers don't have a grasp on issues? Michael understands this mentality? "Bush & Kerry Suck So I'm Voting For Kerry" is his motto? Yes, very inciteful analysis on the politics of today. The term "political insight" belongs in the same category as "jumbo shrimp" when applied to Moore.

"He's more than just funny," said Eric Holtzwarth, assistant dean of The College of Arts and Sciences.

He's less than funny. He would last less than two seconds against someone like Mark Steyn, who is hilarious and brilliant in the same breath.

"He uses humor to promote social change himself."

What does this statement by Michael Moore mean? ""You don't deliver democracy through the barrel of a gun," he said. "It has to be organic."

Organic Democracy? mmmm sounds like B.S. to me. Someone get a shovel, Moore is piling it higher and deeper.

"They're up at the crack of dawn trying to figure out what minority group they want to prevent from getting married today,"

No doubt Moore is up at the crack of dawn looking through the Yellow Pages to try and find an all-you-can-eat buffet he hasn't been barred from.

Moore said Bush became likeable to the average citizen because he speaks to people on their level-especially the 40 million functional illiterates in the country who can't read or write over a fourth grade level. He added that Bush is the epitome of what all Americans want for themselves: to live their entire lives and not have to work.

He apparently hasn't been paying attention to current events.

I'm afraid Michael Moore is mistaken here.

Michael Moore's movie (F911) was the big hit it was (both here and especially overseas) because it spoke to a number of people on their level -- especially the 40 million functional illiterates (mostly the result of being taught by teachers who are NEA members) in this country and the culturally illiterate glitterati Euro-trash.

"He added that Bush is the epitome of what all Americans want for themselves: to live their entire lives and not have to work."

And Micahel Moore "works" ....how?

(And you may not count eating and growing fat as "work"!)

"He's Ferris Bueller," Moore said. "Ferris was cool. Ferris got away with everything. The Democrats are like Ferris Bueller's sister, sitting in the police station with Charlie Sheen, with a scowl on their faces."

Why oh why does anyone take this bloated, self-righteous, arrogant waste-of-oxygen seriously? Can't people see that he thinks they're stupid?

"I'm a dangerous man to be giving a lot of money to, because my consumer needs are few," he said. "I fund a lot of things and will continue to do good with it."

A couple of those "few" consumer needs are a 1.9 million dollar New York apartment, and a 10-acre "camp" on exclusive!!! Torch Lake back home in Michigan, worth 1.2 million.

Let's see -- he owns a million dollar mansion on the Upper West Side, has several cars (including an SUV!) which he has to pay parking for in Manhattan, sends his daughter to private school, has a multimillion dollar mansion in Michigan, and has bodyguards to keep naysayers away. Yeah, he's really living like a pauper.
