Anyone know why Cat is on the watch list? Converting to Islam is not enough, of course, but getting involved in seditious or ugly activity is. What has Cat done to deserve this disgrace?

I'd like to know that one too. Have to admit other than his conversion, and his opposition to the war I don't think I have heard of him doing anything dangerous. If he has please advise.

That's what I was wondering. Is being a stupid entertainer a crime these days? Hell, if that's true, I vote we deport Barbra Streisand, the Dixie Chicks, and Meryl Streep.

But how stupid of me. If Cat Stevens or Yusaf Islam or whoever had been accused of committing a crime, there would have been an accuser, charges and a trial.

American need not trouble itself with those old rituals invented by rich, white european men any more...
