On his Sept. 20, 2004 program afternoon radio host of KIRO in Seattle, Dorey Monson, revealed that KIRO's AM talk show host, Dave Ross, who is currently running for the US House, is still under contract with KIRO. That in itself may not be a problem. Ross had said he wanted a job to fall back on if he lost the race. However, Ross was allowed to continue his AM show, "THE DAVE ROSS SHOW", for more than a month AFTER he began his campaign. Further, while the show has guest hosts for the time being, it is still promoted as the DAVE ROSS SHOW.
Kiro is the same CBS affilitate that fired the talk show host who was critical of Rather.
