I wonder how the Left would react if I depicted George W. Bush as a saint? I'm sure it'd be roundly condemned by a lot of "nonpartisan" (sic!) Leftist churches across America.

"It was one of those creative moments where you're just like, 'Oh, wouldn't this be funny,'" Bullcrap. It's just one more mediocrity seeking success through the titillation of offensiveness.

I have to admit, I think it's pretty damn funny. And I claim to be a Christian, too. I must be a heretic or something. :)

Ok, here's what wrong with this story...
This is not an image of a "saint," its a rip-off of the image of the Sacred Heart (which is an image of Christ). This is the most offensive thing I've ever seen in my life...besides Kerry receiving the Eucharist.

Our parish priest has banned any copy of this pic from the school, the church, the rectory, and urged the parish in general to shun the papr that put it out.
Fire and Brimstone at Mass - it was satisfying.
But as to William the Impeached as a devotional: Blasphemy.

The juxtaposition of Clinton as a saint or a Christ-like image is bad enough but the baby's bib that says I heart abortion is disgusting. Is this guy getting federal funding to support his art? If he is, it should be yanked right away.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus has brought calm, peace, serenity and HOPE to millions of people. His very name is AWESOME to those who believe. The Catholic Church has been attacked over the centuries by people like this artist, in an attempt to destroy the church, and all Christianity. If they should succeed, this country and the world is in big trouble.
If his picture had been of an Afro-American, a Muslim, etc. the MSM would be screaming their heads off.

I feel like if someone who looks like Jesus looked were to walk up to the window of a modern American Christian's car and ask for food, shelter, help or compassion, they would receive less than what Jesus would hope they would give. What this creepazoid forgets is that Jesus looked every inch an upstanding, Orthodox Jew, in an Orthodox Jewish society of 2,000 years ago.
Anyone looking like that now, in American society IS a frightening, freakish, oddball, at best.
A lot of what this vegitarian "Catholic" says betrays his total lack of understanding of Christian and Biblical teachings, principles, or values. It is only matched by his ignorance of the Constitution, and American international diplomacy, politics, or values; nor, and ignorance of just what America is facing and why.
