Several other judges recused themselves on this case.
I wonder if it was even possible to find a "non-political"
judge to hear it.

As usual with the legacy media, they've provided no useful
background or context in which we can assess this ruling.

What is the relevant state law?
What is the caselaw?

And since this was just a District judge, I assume many
appeals await.

This is the same, false issue that the Democrats raised and the lower court bought, in Pennsylvania. For the reasons in the appeals brief in the Pa. Supreme Court (which I helped to write), this should be laughed out of court (excuse me, reversed on appeal).

The trial judge, if that's her who made a $1,000 contribution to Kerry, should be strongly disciplined, and her opinion thrown out as a matter of course.
