Ripped Sign Spurs National Debate (Kerry Thugs vs. 3 yr. old Bush Supporter)
The Herald-Dispatch (Via Drudge) ^ | Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 | JIM ROSS

Barboursville resident Phil Parlock and his children became national celebrities in the world of Internet blogging and conservative talk radio on Friday.

A Bush-Cheney campaign sign yanked from the hands of 3-year-old Sophia Parlock and ripped into pieces was the focus of all the attention. The incident occurred Thursday evening at Tri-State Airport during Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards’ campaign stop.

Republican supporters all over the Internet on Friday were saying Parlock was merely a Republican exercising his First Amendment rights, set upon by Democratic thugs.

Go to Drudge to get the link to the story, since the Copywrite Nazis won't let us link to the Herald-Dispatch directly.

A sign of the times. This stupid thug's action (rather getting caught by an AP photographer, who's editor was brave enough to print it) is going to cost Kerry the election. Certainly WV and Ohio.

This has not made the RATs look good in WV. In a tight race, a story like this could swing enough voters to make a real difference.

I personally havn't spent much attention to the partisan acts from the liberals and Kerry followers until the Move.org ad that depicts a US soldier floundering in quick sand. I can't express my anger, my dismay, my repulsion.

This is a reflection of Kerry. Kerry approved this ad. If he did not approve it, then he is even less of a leader.

We need to defeat these people. We need to have full control of the Congress. We need to oust the Kennedy, Pelosi etc. liberal traitors.

This ad is unbelieveable.

AMERICA HAS NEVER LOST A WAR. THE AMERICAN SERVICEMAN HAS NEVER BEEN SECOND TO ANYONE. AND THE IDEA THAT THE DEMOCRATS WOULD RUN AN AD DEPICTING AN AMERICAN SOLDIER SURRENDERING... AT A TIME OF WAR NAUSEATES ME...

WE NEED TO VOTE... ALL OF US.. WE NEED ON ELECTION DAY TO CALL FRIENDS... RELATIVES... EVERYONE AND MAKE SURE THEY VOTE...

WE NEED TO OUST THESE PEOPLE... I AM CONVINCED THAT THEY DO NOT REPRESENT THE SAME AMERICA THAT I DO...AND THAT MY PARENTS FOUGHT FOR....

KERRY IS THE RIGHT CANDIDATE AND AT THE RIGHT TIME... HE OPENED MY EYES TO REALIZE THAT...WE NEED TO DEFEAT THEM, NOT APPEASE OR COMPROMISE WITH THEM... DEFEAT THEM...

A FULL SWEEP.... ALL 50 STATES........

Seems demopigs are busy thinking up phony conspiracy theories with no basis to justify the attack on this 3 year old girl.

Democrats know no low.

I printed out the better photo that had her brother with clinched fists.
I was going to give it to a friend who does not use a computer. He was not at home. I went to my favorite grocery store and showed it.
A crowd came over to look at the photo and the store manager asked for the copy.
He then posted the photo on their front door.
There were some very angry people and if the thug who was taunting the little girl had walked into the store, they might have had a necktie party.

So it was the little girls brother with the clenched fist?

Oh boy. If so, I owe him an apology.

The demwits may call him a disrupter. If he was baiting the demwits, he did everyone a favor. He showed everyone the democrats are violent and a bunch of thugs.

It was. Here's the story, drawn from a lot of recent threads on FR, frankly. Call it a 'nastiness in the campaign', except that some Dem ALWAYS behave that way.

Can you imagine the sparks that would be flying if a Republican had ripped up a little girl's "Kerry/Edwards" sign?

To be honest the republican activist was a FOOL to bring his daughter there when he knew from previous experience what those thugs were capable of doing.

HE need to be charged with child endangerment as much as the union thug needs to be charged with assault!

Unfortunately, we have the same group of FR CINOs on other forums blaming this poor victim, just like that rats.

It is a sad state of affairs when our own side is divided because some are so ignorant.

It is not the duty of a free people to cease being free or else be prosecuted for excercising that freedom. You, sir, need an ethics adjustment.

There was an incident in Charleston, WV earlier in the campaign where two Kerry supporters were arrested at a Bush
rally for wearing pro Kerry tee shirts.

Both incidents were uncalled for, and honestly neither
event has had much mention in the MSM in WV. The latest
incident will have little or no effect on the election outcome in WV.
