I JUST got this e-mail alert from www.goodnewsamerica.us
'If the picture of little 3-year-old Sophia Parlock crying after some Kerry-Edwards Union Thugs ripped up her Bush-Cheney poster and gave her back the pieces got to you, well, you weren't the only one. Well, there's a happy ending. After seeing the picture of the tearful Sophia on her dad's shoulders, aides said the president was sending her a little note Friday along with a signed campaign poster and an autographed photo of the Prez and his dog.
"Dear Sophia" Bush penned, "Thank you for supporting my campaign. I understand someone tore up your sign. So I am sending you a new sign and a signed picture. Please give my best to your family. Sincerely, George W. Bush" And on the picture, he inked: "To Sophia, Best wishes from me and Barney"
It seems that we are reminded of the class of President Bush.'
If this is a repeat post I'm sorry....just thought that everyone would like to see this!!!!
Where's the story on the poster getting ripped up? This is the first I've heard of it.
Man, you must have been sleeping Flashback. Go to the search bar and tye in "girl cry".
No. I'm in Alabama and have just gotten my power back on. This is the first time I've been online since Wednesday. Thanks for the help!
??!! Been busy lately? This story got HUGH!
speaking of class(low)
kerry, not to be out done by W, sent little sophie a picture of him in his naval uniform.
little sophie than put the picture of kerry in the corner of the family farm causing all the rats and roaches to clear out of it.
see, kerry is worth something.
Thanks, that is nice
Clinton would have hit on her.
Here is more about the real W.
I hope all is OK.
Yesterday, the news was full of Ivan, the polls, and the little girl.
I hope all is well for you in Alabama. We surely dodged a big bullet here in New Orleans.
Give BJ a little credit, he'd have asked if she had an older sister.
Great post. I wonder why this story has not been reported on any news network. Not even FOX to my knowledge.
Hope that all is well with you and your loved ones..welcome back!

There were several threads with pictures of this and it was on Drudge yesterday. There is also a picture posted on the Day in the life of President Bush thread yesterday.
Try searching the last name [Parlock] as a key word and you should be able to find a thread on it.
It is a powerful picture I think.
There is also a thread where the Union president issued an apology to young Sophia.
GWB's sense of gentlemanly behavior is a model for us all.
