I would like to know, whom candidate do you wish to see as a president?
Ukraine is too difficult for me. Pinging Struwwel to see if he has a comment.
Which candidate is backed by Ziggy Brzezinski? I cheer for any but that one.
You mean which one is backed by Soros.
Then you like Brzezinki, my Russian friend dont like him, he said that Brzezinki is anti-Russian.
It seems to me that Russia and vicinity are going through their "gangster phase", much like the U.S. did in the 1930's with Al Capone, Ma Barker, Pretty Boy Floyd and Bonnie and Clyde. I guess when capitalism gets shaky, either a weak spot in it's evolution (U.S.) or weak when starting out (Russia), desperate people do desperate things. Sounds like Russia and vicinity need a top cop who will clean up the mess like Elliot Ness did.
Poor Soros. Hmm, what happened to his head do you think? :-)
I despise Brzezinski, read my post again.
Brzezinski once said - "now that the USSR has fallen, the only remaining enemy of the west is the Orthodox church".
So we say our big enemy is Brzezinski, who wishes for Russia to be dissolved. Brzezinski is a big liberal, btw.
Very good analogy. The Russian mafia/Yukos/corruption was done as the USSR folded. It is only just now that Putin is trying to clean up the mess left by Yeltsin.
Viktor Yushchenko is probably the lessor of all evils, most heavily favored by "reformers".
Yanukovich - who probably ordered the hit - is the hand-picked successor to Leonid Kuchma. Both of them are Chicago-style politicos. While Yanukovich was governor of the ethnic Russian Donbass region, he had close ties to the gangster Anatoly Pavlovich Ryadchenko. When a judge was investigating the murder of an anti-Kuchma journalist, Yanukovich was supposedly taped ordered a pair of broken knees for the judge.
A stopped clock is right twice a day, since Soros supports Yushchenko. It should be interesting to see what my email from Kyiv looks like.
I took a look at your profile page and will have to read it later. I've been to your country--it's absolutely beautiful.
One of those governors that was elected.
Thanks for the feedback but anything, anything but Soros. I really despise him, stopped clock and all.
Ever since I read about his funding of the hospice (euthanasia) for children project in New York, I just cannot make an excuse for Soros to remain on this planet with the rest of us. He was supporting sending sick children to hospices set up specially for them to die in, rather than hospitals which are expensive but support life. Somehow he missed the fact that many children with leukemia are actually cured and live long lives.
that=who (was elected)
I wonder if this is somehow related to Russia's pending war on terror...?
U menya slozhilos' mnenie, chto ego (Yushchenko) khoteli otravit'. On ezdil po Cherkasskoy oblasti s predvybornoy agitatsiey i obratilsya v bol'nitsu, t.k. u nego vozniklo podozrenie na prostudu. Takie simptomy byli. No, kogda proveli obsledovanie, to okazalos' sil'noe otravlenie. On lezhal v bol'nitse, no uzhe vyshel. Po-moemu, ego takim obrazom poka predupredili. Uzhas, chto tvoritsya za portfel' prezidenta. Ehto i ne udivitel'no. Ved' Kuchma i ego okruzhenie teryayut vse. V strane idet otkrytiy grabezh. Prodayutsya predpriyatiya, kotorye predstavlyayut bol'shoy interes. Tsena ikh nizhe, chem oni poluchili pribyl'. I skupaet vse ehto priblizhennye Kuchmy i ego zyat'. Poehtomu budet bor'ba gryaznaya i opasnaya dlya zhizni Yushchenko."I'm of the opinion that they tried to poison him (Yushchenko). He was travelling around the Cherkassaya district with his campaign and went to a hospital, because he thought he had a cold. Such were his symptoms. But, when they performed tests, it turns out that it was a serious case of poisoning. He was hopitalized, but he's already recovered. In my opinion, it was a warning. It's horrible what goes on beyond the president's portfolio (?). It's not even surprising. Obviously Kuchma and his circle will lose everything. There's open theft going on in the nation. They'ree selling companies which represent a large interest. Their prices are lower then their profits. And all these businesses are being bought be Kuchma and his son-in-law. Therefore there will be a dirty struggle and it will dangerous for Yushchenko's life."
I'm not sure what the portfolio part means, but it looks like Ukraine is getting interesting.
