wow that is really impressive. You have inspired me to email my questions for kerry. imus will just melt like he always does. i don't know why msnbc even has him on there. aren't their ratings low enough?
So John, after you collaborated with the Viet Cong wit Jane Fonda, why do you think you were never court marshaled for violating USMJ section 18 {or whatever it is} for treason?
{I won't hold my breath}
How many people listen to Imus anymore. If Kerry is serious about rescuing his failing candidacy he would go on all of the Sunday shows or interview with a Barbara Walters type. We know he won't do it because he's a nothing candidate. At this point even Barbara would eat him alive.
Here are the questions I asked Imus to ask Kerry.
Mr. Kerry, why won't you sign the 180 to release all your records?
Mr. Kerry, why did you meet with the enemy in Paris?
Mr. Kerry, why did you throw away your medals?
Mr. Kerry, why did you burn the American flag?
Mr. Kerry, did you call Vietnam Vets baby killers?
Mr. Kerry, what is your Senate record?
Mr. Kerry, why are you running on your 4 month Vietnam service, when you opposed everything you did when you got home?
Okay, now this is gonna sound like a (home) movie, but take what you're writing -- a secret trip into Cambodia delivering CIA operatives -- and, now get this and stick with me, make it Christmas.
Huh? Huh?
Imus went to Walter Reed Hospital yesterday and was angry with Dubya for all the wounded soldiers. So my guess is he will get back on the Kerry wagon. Won't help Kerry anyway.
The only way for Kerry to save himself is to get an interview on 60 Minutes with Dan Rather.
As long as Terraazah gives money to the Imus Ranch I don't expect any revelations.
Man, you are a creative genius. No one would ever in a million years think of that. That gives me an idea. How about the CIA guy giving him a secret hat that he only shows certain people after he swears them to secrecy?
Maybe after Kerry loses, he can take over Rather's job anchoring the CBS Evening News.
My guess is Imus will ask a couple "tough" questions, but won't follow up hard when Kerry gives them the brush off. Imus will probably tell Lurch his campaign isn't getting the job done and Kerry will say he's "really gonna take the gloves off now" or some other rally-the-troops nonsense.
Good political discourse? Naaahhh.....Kerry's just trying to find someone that looks more cadaverous than he does. They both talk like 33 1/3 LPs played on 16. Some of you Gen Xers in the CD age may have to ask your parents about that last comment.
Oooo, I like it. It's got legs.
Now, hear me out, I'm gonna really get wild here: he comes BACK from Cambodia (on Christmas) (with his secret hat that he only shows certain people after he swears them to secrecy) and in just a season, gets wounded three times, earning him a trip Stateside where he immediately goes to work to spread falsehoods and lies about the guys who are still (really) fighting the war back in....
Wait.
I guess I'm being a little TOO crazy now, aren't I?
Are you for the War in Iraq and what would you do different?
Did you go into Cambodia? He won't answer either!
Pray for W and Our Troops
I hear lunch is going to be catered by Frank E. Campbell
Only question I would like Imus to ask Kerry is:
Have you ever received anything other than an 'honorable discharge' from the Navy?
PING if you see this in the morning.
Too early for me (4:30 am!) but will look forward to freeper notes.
I'll predict right here that Kerry will blow off the forgery issue and say GWB needs to address "the questions" about his service.
Also, being a "fake newsman," Stewart doesn't really count as a "big journalist."
JFK went onto Stewart's show because he was afraid of doing an interview with a real journalist. He ended up looking like a big geek, so he stopped doing public interviews almost entirely.
Yeh, I think you went too far. It would only work if he came home an became an aide to an Admiral and tried to run for Congress. Ah well, it was a good try.
