Given Selective Service Number 326 46 228.
Bill Clinton classified 2-S on November 17, 1964.
Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on March 20, 1968.
Bill Clinton ordered to report for induction on July 28, 1969.
Bill Clinton dishonors order to report and is not inducted into the military.
Bill Clinton reclassified 1-D after enlisting in the United States Army Reserves on August 07,1969 under authority of Col.E.Holmes. Clinton signs enlistment papers and takes oath of enlistment.
Bill Clinton fails to report to his duty station at the University of Arkansas ROTC, September 1969.
Bill Clinton reclassified 1-A on October 30, 1969, as enlistment with Army Reserves is revoked by Colonel E. Holmes and Clinton now AWOL and subject to arrest under Public Law 90-40 (2)(a) 'registrant who has failed to report...remain liable for induction'.

AN INTERESTING QUESTION: This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without casting stones, it is a legitimate question. There are two men, both extremely wealthy.
One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions of dollars to charity.
The other sponsors terrorism.
That being the case, why was it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the eight years in office, than Osama bin Laden?

It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir.
Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. ( How much would you be willing to bet that he will ever actually produce a book to honor the obligations under this contract? )
This from two people who spent 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath!

As soon as you put 4 different examinations into the equation, it begins to look much more like a man desperately attemping to join the military than anything else.
That would also explain why he was never rounded up by the FBI. I know about that part having enlisted after I got a pre-induction physical for the draft. Those guys actually tracked me down to my basic training company at Fort Dix, NJ (where they simply left me alone). No doubt they tracked Billzo down as well, if the military actually wanted him.
Now, having said all of that, let me note that Peronie's Disease (having a sufficiently "bent" penis) disqualifies a man from military duty in this country.
The idea is that medical personnel have enough to worry about treating battlefield wounds to say nothing of attempting to straighten a penis!
This is one of those situations where folks are entitled to believe what they wish, mostly because Billzo never released any of his medical files, least of all those held by DOD concerning his pre-induction physical exams.
Edwards turned 18 in 1971.
Cheney turned 18 in 1958.
John Edwards COULD have served during Vietnam BUT didn't.
Instead he went to college from '70-'74
He enrolled at Clemson University
but dropped out in his first year,
after a football scholarship fell through

Good post, but not really relevant -- which is what the Dems will say. I don't recall the poster or #, but Cheney's "FIVE DEFERMENTS!!@!#@%$#!%$^&!&^" were broken down rather nicely previously--i.e. he was 26 and married with a kid before the draft was even an option.

Someone please post Clinton's version of these events from his book. I hear it is quite humorous. He didn't go into the ROTC because it would have ruined his political viability.
