He said the Democratic Party has been hijacked by a band of thugs (paraphrasing) that would instead of taolking about positive issues run around the country calling a Sitting President a Liar. Said it doesn't matter whether Dem.or Rep. that turns off the mainstream folk.
Don't forget, Perot had hired him briefly (along with a Reagan man) to run the '92 campaign before firing him.
Caddell was his own man even then. (Much as I had no use for Perot, he would have been better than slick, and at the time, Pewrot actually had a chance of winning the whole thing)

Then he started saying that his party was corrupt, siting McAullife by name, saying that he earned 18 million on Global Crossing off 100K and he is dishonest.
He said those running the party are not putting the country's interests before their own desire for power. Same song we have heard from other Regan Democrats.

What the rats are trying to do is to get people tired of hearing about Vietnam, period. That means people will tune out upcoming Swifties ads as well, which they know will be devastating to Kerry. Their only hope is that people will be so tired of hearing about Vietnam, that they will ignore the Swifties ads.

I think it's refreshing when you can have a discussion with someone who isn't going to cover up. Conservatives learned this lesson since Ford lost and have kicked buttflaps ever since. But it's really great to disagree with someone who can get you to think, instead of listening to a lecture and having the lecturer (not listening) assume that he or she has persuaded you (as clearly we do not have free will).

I wonder whether, if this election goes the way we are expecting, the Democrat Party will go through a "Reformation", or whether they'll disintegrate into three separate camps: 1) the Clintonistas; 2) the Michael Moore nutcases; 3) the Joe Lieberman moderates.

I first discovered Pat Cadell during the election 2000 fight. He was rabid back then as well.
In 2000 he called the media a wing of the democratic party and called it pathetic. He also said that the democrats have lost and aren't willing to accept it.
Imagine a Pat and Zell program on FoxNews evening.... I can think of a couple or three evening venue that could be replaced.
Believe it or not, this makes Hillary look sane and moderate.
