Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe has a well-earned reputation for slash and burn, scorched-earth politics, but has he sunk to unprecedented lows? McAuliffe has once again actively taken to attacking the president’s military service and his honorable discharge. All this forces us to ask one question of Terry McAuliffe: Sir, have you no shame? The answer seems apparent.

Operation Fortunate Son Demonstrates Kerry’s Hypocrisy
In an effort to further smear the president, Terry McAuliffe and the Democratic National Committee are spending bags o’ cash hoping to make hay out of the president’s honorable discharge from the Air National Guard. Dubbed Operation Fortunate Son, it parallels similar efforts that failed time and again in previous years. So what makes them think it’ll work in 2004? Sounds like long odds in a move that perhaps better illustrates the Kerry campaign’s utter hypocrisy on the issue.

Amazes me too. McAweful is a classic sociopath, a career criminal with a long list of swindles, frauds, and theft. Global Crossings was one of his biggest (and most lucrative) scams.

Was channel surfing just awhile ago..even msnbc's reporter was skeptical about how effective fortunate son operation is going over with the public..you know..once this election is over and the GOP kicks backside..the dnc will jettison mcawful and could (and I say could) bring in someone competent to run the party..mcawful would have done the clintons bidding..setting hillary up as the savior of the dnc and such..maybe mcawful and rather could stay with kerry at kerry's house in france to console each other...
