Thanks for this. I just finished an eloquent email to LL Bean, which happens to be a close neighbor. Iams is next. I patronise both of them & can therefore honestly threaten to withdraw my patronage.

"Your sponsorship of the CBS Evening News has forced me to boycott your products until such time that you no longer sponsor them or support a show that misleads it's viewers with outright lies and distortions of the news for political reasons.

I am also going to encourage my family and friends to do the same. Maybe you are not aware of what has gone on lately on the CBS Evening News and the controversy regarding Dan Rather. If not, I suggest you direct some energies to catch up."
