Assault rifles are select fire or fully automatic weapons. The 1994 ban has nothing to do with assault rifles. The 1994 ban created an artificial class of weapons known as "assault weapons" based on cosmetic features.

Only 34 people have votes so far and we are losing.

Freep the hell out of this one.

And no one should complain about Freeping polls---these are Internet polls looking for the opinions of people on the Internet.

You have every right to vote.

FReepeing online polls is a perfectly valid activity. Online polls are used by these dweebs to prop up phoney stories. Screwing with their polls screws up their stupid, fake stories.

No, this is as big of fake as Rather's documents. These guns aren't banned right now with millions on the street. Anyone that want to own one can buy one. Most LEO's are faced with cheap Saturday Night specials like the Raven's and Jennings. Less than 2% of the gun crime are with these weapons which are nothing more than a mean looking semiautomatic rifle. Not too much use for a bayonet buy collectors love to collect these semiautomatic version of the Full Auto military guns. I grow tired of hearing the reputable media calling these guns automatic!

My 15 yr old daughter shot a 50 caliber BMG sniper rifle today. She liked it!! She saved a shell (Darn things are about 4" long - empty!)
There was a weapons show near the lake. It was put on by ex-militatry and FBI agents.
The kids got to see every kind of weapon available. Big, bigger, and biggest guns! It didn't turn them into blood thirsty criminals or anything, either. LOL.

Yep. Voted in the poll!
