Islamic group hails terror attack
Berkshire -- UK ^ | Sept. 11, 2004 | UK News

Islamic extremists in the UK have hailed the terrorists responsible for the September 11 terrorist atrocities on the third anniversary of the attack.

Anjem Choudary, of radical group Al-Muhajiroun, described Osama bin Laden, mastermind of the attack on the Twin Towers in New York, as a "Muslim brother" and claimed he would be elected leader in any Muslim country.

Al-Muhajiroun, which vowed that one day the Islamic flag will fly in Downing Street, had planned to stage a conference in London to mark the third anniversary of September 11 but it was called it off on police advice.

Instead Mr Choudary held a news conference in the capital to declare that there had been positive outcomes as a result of 9/11. He said the act had divided the world into two separate camps, Muslim and non-Muslim.

The group described 9/11 as a "towering day" in history and it also paid tribute to the "magnificent" 19 hijackers.

Mr Choudary stressed that the hijackers were educated men from rich backgrounds.

But he said Muslims who lived in Britain, under the covenant of security, did not have the right to carry out operations in this country.

Mr Choudary denied his organisation was a military one and said that it was not involved in training people to carry out terrorism in Britain.

Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, the spiritual leader of Al-Muhajiroun, had been due to attend but did not show up at the last minute, with organisers claiming he had instead decided to speak to an Arab television station.

He denied that the terrorists behind the Beslan school siege in Russia had targeted children and claimed that they had made reasonable demands which would have resulted in all of them being released.

Muslims have a choice: either to condemn and disown such groups, or they have nobody to blame but themselves, if people hold the Muslims responsible.

This group is considering Bin Laden a "Muslim brother". THEY are the ones who are conntecting the terrorists to the Muslim religion, not us.

If the Islamists truly think their method of attack is acceptable, I say we give them a dose of their own medicine.

What a relief.
I was almost starting to think that for the first time the murder of innocent
men, women and children was the fault of the Islamic "freedom fighters".

(end bitter sarcasm)

If we were serious, this guy would be dead in 48 hrs.

Therefore, I don't believe the US government is either serious, nor committed. Maybe after the next slaughter we'll get serious and stop the charades.

Certain biologists are now working very hard on a strain of goat AIDS.

A successful dispensing of this virus to the animal herds of the middle east will ensure the quick elimination of the male arab.

Like to see this maggot make his proclamation at 1 WTC Plaza to an audience of NYFD, NYPD, and assorted Teamsters and other local union members.

Radical Islam is plague. It's "moderate" apologists are AIDS. Their goal is to weaken our defenses. Both deserve the hot medicine. Beats me, why the real treatment is not being even considered.

I'll bet a group of seasoned SEALs or Rangers could, with sufficient intel, take out that little hut. Which of course begs the question...would they follow their orders?

AGREED! All this attitude gets me from some here is a good flaming at my "insensitivity."

I can say it differently, but I can never really add anything so here is a link to one of my recent posts on the matter:

Why waste a perfectly good, and expensive, airplane? Take two of these and speak to Allah in the morning.

Missiles are much more expensive. And the Arabs would provide us the planes...same as we supplied them theirs on the morning of 9/11.

Take two of these and speak to Allah in the morning.

LOL! That's a good one. : )
