More likely busy at his computer creating more early 1970s era documents.
I just tuned in. When I turned it on Rummy said something and the crowd bursted in cheer. What did he say? I missed it.
He thanked Nascar fans for supporting our troops.
That is a very warm and respectful greeting Jeff is giving to our Rummy.
Well, Rummy was introduced, and the crowd roared it's cheers for the man who quite possibly may be the most popular Defense Secretary in American history. Then Rummy thanks NASCAR and its fans for the tremendous support NASCAR gives to our troops, and the crowd roared again. The crowd chanted USA! USA! USA! Rummy had to quite them before leading everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, and the crowd roared again. In the field yesterday were an Army car, a National Guard car, and an Air Force car. Cars sponsored by the Navy and Marines run in the Busch series.
Thanks! :-)
Rummy Bump!
I recorded the latest appearance of Jeff's on the Regis show about a month ago. During the coversation, there was a guest host who's name escapes me (a TV actor in a hot series). He made some kind of comment about President Bush, and Jeff's response was, "The President is always cool."
Pray for W and Our Troops
