Statement by U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof (R-MO)
George W. Bush ^ | September 10, 2004

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof today issued the following statement:

“John Kerry is trying to mislead Missouri voters with his attacks on health care costs even though he voted five times for higher Medicare premiums. Kerry opposed the President’s Medicare bill guaranteeing affordable prescription drugs, calling it a ‘phony’ bill. He even called the passage of separate legislation requiring Medicare premium increases a ‘day of vindication.’ The true day of vindication for Missouri doctors and patients will come when Kerry and his Democratic colleagues stop opposing the President’s reforms to curb the medical liability lawsuits that are costing Americans as much as $108 billion each year. The American Medical Association says Missouri is in a medical liability crisis, but John Kerry is too beholden to the lawyers that have given more money than any other senator over the past 15 years to take action. Missouri’s working families and seniors are not going to trust a candidate who proposes raising taxes to pay for government-run health care and advocates creating a taxpayer-funded ‘Department of Wellness.’”

Beholden too the lawyers ... his running mate is one of the very lawyers that raped tax payer money with frivolous (sp?) lawsuits.

Scorching!!!!!!

Seems like 'ol Zell's RNC speech from the pulpit has the effect of 'growing spines' within the Republican party.

These issues are finally being stated of liberals/democrats.
