We've looked at this as an islamofascist tactical option in the US, posted here on FR nearly three years ago. We got into the minds of the terrorist to do it. What started the discussion, later, was the total panic and chaos that the Washington D.C. sniper caused to the national capital area as well, and how they could paralyze the national mindset by one well timed and coordinated and televised atrocity against American schoolchildren in the American heartland in some unsuspecting, small town that had minimal security and hadn't the slightest thought they could even be the target of international muslim terrorism.
