Moore's film has been disqualified by the Academy's own rules. Since it was aired on television in Cuba by his buddy Castro, Michael Moore's film cannot be nominated or selected as a winner in any Academy Award category.

And if the Academy tries to bend the rules for Moore, I think we should let them know what we think...and in spades.

Are you kidding? The fact that it was on Cuba's PBS will make it even more of a darling to the Hollywood elite...

since it was a "bootleg" copy that aired, the accademy has already said it does not disqualify moore.
