The last part of the article:
It is more than a rumor that Bush will return to the state for the NASCAR race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon on Sept. 19. He is scheduled to attend the start of the race with its 100,000 spectators before going to another event.
And we can expect television advertising to intensify. The Kerry campaign just purchased $50 million in national ads, mostly for the 20 battleground states, and new ads begin airing this week. The Bush campaign will also begin a new round soon.

The Kerry campaign just purchased $50 million in national ads, Out of his government check?
That leaves $28 million, less expenses and salaries, until the election.

The president gets the greater value out of going to a race. It's relatively "free", it reaches an enormous number of people, and the news reports last for however long liberals complain about it.

"Who among us does not love Nascar?" -- John Kerry, in another hilarious moment of idiocy.

NASCAR loves Republicans. Clinton was not received so well when he tried it, however.

I hope Dubya goes to Talladega Oct. 3.
Hundred of thousands of deep south NASCAR fans, and millions more watching on TV. Won't cost him a dime, either, just ask for the invite and show up.
Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES!

na$car has sold out its fans for coporate money. They trashed 50 years of tradition by moving the Southern 500 to kalifornia. For the first time in my life, Darlington was silent on Labor Day weekend.

Don't give up on them yet. The problem with NH, (and Maine for that matter) is that the good Bush supporters need to have a reason to show up to vote. A lot of these people are out hunting around election day. Although it is early this year so maybe it is before deer season. I'll have to check the Fish and Game calendar.
Reach them by telling them how important this election is, and they will show up.
