Plant or not, these ads will help Kerry if they get on the air. They are absolutely awful.
Nah... these ads will just ad to all the 527 noise out there. I doubt these guys have the funding to get the impressions the y need to cause any trouble (for either candidate).
One thing all the 527s have done is to dilute the effectiveness of tv spots... there are just too many, and that is causing confusion and diluting the impact of TV ads.

I live in Phoenix and I listened to Mark Stevens last night (Sep 5).
He really sounds legitimate (bashes Kerry, Terreza, Ted Kennedy, and he talks very favorably about Guiliani, and such). But I think that the ads are too harsh and would be interpretted as rascist by some (even if they aren't).
