Speaking as one from Florida, and in Florida, I have had my fill of reporters standing out in the wind and rain talking about the wind and rain! Gimme a break. Everyone knows hurricanes have lots of wind and rain, where's the news value of talking about it when one is sitting right on top of you. One of the roving meteorologists, the Weather Channel I believe, was out in the wind and rain yesterday talking about how dangerous it is to be out in the wind and rain and she was struck by a piece of flying debris! Had to laugh! When last seen she was applying ice to the injury and enroute to have it treated.

The DEMS cried that a Homeland Security threat was posted on the Sunday after the DNC.., all we get after the RNC is uninterrupted FRANCES. I know it's a holiday weekend and no one in the news media wants to work, but sending the third team bench warmers 24/7 to flap in the breeze and totally ignore big news (job numbers, this capture, Bush afterglow) is a dereliction of duty.
I won't whine beyond that, less be considered a media girley-man.

I had to turn Fox News off. I was afraid one of those reporters was going to get hit in the head with flying debis, have a tree fall on them, or get electrocuted from fallen power lines.
