Conspiracy theory "New York Times columnist Paul Krugman says he believes the United States needs a 'mega-Watergate' scandal to uncover a far-reaching right-wing conspiracy, going back 40 years, to gain control of the U.S. government and roll back civil rights," Byron York writes at National Review Online (www.nationalreview.com).

-The lies of Paul Krugman-( BLAIR, BRAGG, DOWD ... KRUGMAN? ) --
What's the surprise? He writes for the New York Times, the "tabloid of record."
Democrats will need therapy if Bush beats them again [8/30/04 | Charles Krauthammer]
I guess Albert Gore Senior and Old Sheets Bryd, who opposed Civil Rights legislation is on the side of us race hating bigots. Condaleza Rice, Colin Powell, Rodney Page, Clarence Thomas, JC Watts, etc, etc must have been asleep with Krugman.
"United States needs a 'mega-Watergate' scandal to uncover a far-reaching right-wing conspiracy, going back 40 years, to gain control of the U.S. government and roll back civil rights"
It is barely outside of 40 years ago Republicans had to fight the left to implement Civil Rights legislation. Reality is these high minded liberals are the blue blood society types that think power belongs to them. They needn't earn it. So, when the god fearing, American loving conservatives give them a good @ss whoopin', they think it is a conspiracy.
Face it Paul, you, yours and you ideas are LOSERS. I know this is not what you call a "nuanced" thought. It is just a cold hard truth. Please, seek professional help.
"Lunatic fringe, I know you're out there,
You're in hiding, and you hold your meetings"...
His tinfoil hat is obviously too tight.
Add Bush, mix thoroughly and repeat application.
This time however there's a pesky little problem. The mainstream no longer controls the national dialog. ("Krugman said he and other liberals had been 'asleep'" It's worse than that Krugman. You're finished. We got a free press nowadays. Try and take it away from us. Make our day.)
So this time we can ask why is LBJ's bugging of Goldwater OK and Nixon's people's bugging of McGovern not OK? E. Howard Hunt was in on both. See http://criterion.uchicago.edu/issues/iii2/hore.html
We can ask why is opposing sending all power to government employees in Washington racist?
I believe you have answered your own question.
The Civil Rights of Christians are being rolled back.
The words "Krugman" and "economist" shouldn't ever even be in the same sentence.
D'ohh! Sorry about that!
Paul Krugman is nuts. Nasty, dopey, and nuts.
How do us right-wingers find the time to do these things? We're so busy throwing grandmothers out in the cold and harming minorities.
Amen!
