The "seven" limit is for short-term memory. It's clear that people can remember a lot more if they can get it into their long-term memory.

This article reads like so many dissertations in psychology: Up to now, researchers were stupid and studied behavior in dopey ways, but then I got this idea and ... Here insert any of a number of ideas that turn out to be not worth talking about, followed by Further research is recommended.
