CHICAGO Chicago Mayor Richard Daley has applauded Republicans for holding their convention in overwhelmingly Democrat New York City.
Daley yesterday also criticized protesters lining the streets outside the convention.
Daley is a Democrat. But he says people are ``sick and tired'' of the ``hatred'' in American politics and fringe groups with a political agenda.
He applauded Arizona Senator John McCain for using his convention speech Monday to try to restore civility to the presidential debate.
Daley also thanked former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for recognizing contributions of Chicago Police in the days after the September Eleventh terrorist attacks.
His dad would know what to do with those maggots in NYC.

Translation: John F. Kerry, the extreme libs and the Anarchists and Communists are not only NOT going to play in Peoria, they aren't going to play in Chicago either.
Kerry will likely still take Illinois, but make no mistake: There are a lot of Democrats not happy that he's what they're stuck with.

Sen Ribikoff from CT, at the podium, denouncing the "Nazi" police of Chicago, and Mayor Daley, on the floor yelling back up at him to "go f**k himself" and giving him the finger..worth watching late at night..

Corrupt as Daley may have been, he has to cringe at was has happened to the Democratic Party.

The only discount that Daley would have given those radicals in 1968 was one less nightstick to the head.

Isn't it amazing that Republican Protesters during the Democratic convention kept it outside, orderly, and civil. Conservative journalists and broadcasters inside kept civil and respectful.
The Democrat protesters are rude, violent, unruly. And those inside are loud, obnoxious, and venomous.'

I'm worried that tomorrow night will become a disaster. These scumbags are in the convention and trying to attack Cheney. The Secret Service has little or no control anymore.

He's no better than Mayor Dinkins who actually THANKED criminals for not committing crimes.

Unlikely, though like other big city mayors on the front line of the war on terror domestically, he's been supportive of the Bush administrations actions.
Of course his top priority is disarming the citizens of Chicago, go figure.
Fortunately for Republicans Kerry is "smart", so he doesn't listen to folks like Daley, who couldn't pass the bar, when it comes to mundane things like winning elections.
