An interesting experience, receiving a tolerance lecture from somebody who bears the following phrase on their own profile page:

"My fellow Americans, I have just signed legislation to outlaw Islam. The bombing began in October 2001."

Practice what you preach, my FRiend.

This wasn't intended as a tolerance lecture. It was intended as a lecture on improving the forum to better promote its goals. Stopping the name-calling doesn't mean moving leftward. It means moving upward.

My profile sig was intended as a joke, a play on the old Reagan episode. Perhaps, in all honesty, I should change it -- as it might give the wrong impression out. At least I don't quote that sig on 1000s of posts a day.

"civility for thee, but not for me"

Let's see, hillary and hitler:
Both socialists.
Both for gun control
Both used the government to go after their political enemies
Hillary: For socialized medicine. Hitler: Don't know specifics, probably close to hillary's plan.
Hitler: Killed millions while in power.
Hillary: Never held power directly, but dozens died a fiery death in waco, all over a $200 tax stamp. Hillary reportedly was upset they were making bill look bad, and wanted 'something' done.
Both wrote best-selling books full of lies that appeal to different groups of raving loons.
