It's still raining, but not very hard, just steadily.
It stopped raining here about 9 or 10 this morning, but even at 5 this afternoon I encountered major water on some roads.
8 inches of rain today? I do not envy you with that amount. We would all be floating away over here with that amount of rain. We just can't handle anymore water.
