This is one of several violent anarchist groups gathering in NYC. Reports are that Tom Hayden, the Black Panther party, and a number of Weathermen extremists recently released from prison will all be there. I feel like I'm in a time warp (1968 redux). But, I have a bad feeling this one's going to be worse.

It looks like some of the police officers in NY will be on horseback and the leftist terrorists intend to hurt the horses in an attempt to injure their riders.
Lessee, this means that this news will be on the front page of tomorrow's New York Times? "Democrats are indirectly sponsoring near-violent protests during the Republican Convention."

You're right, the horses should be set free, is probably the PETA reasoning.
The leaders and factotums of these radical, hate-filled and ultimately treasonous groups should be hunted down and destroyed like the animals they are. They are America's domestic enemies.
It's hard to commit that sort of terrorism if you're dead. Let the enterprising among us take note and take the appropriate action.
I live in Washington State, and believe me the protesters did not make a favorable impression in Seattle, but since Clinton supported the World Trade Organization, the connection to radical Democrats was not made. The politically correct Seattle force did take a beating for their handling of the events, though.
I am hoping for a reaction closer to that of the 1968 Democrat convention when the moderate Democrats were forced to disassociate themselves with the radical anti-war protesters. Bush is actually being very clever calling on Kerry to disavow these people before the convention.
Nixon proved that you can't take pre-emptive action against these groups or stop the DNC from coordinating with them. The Watergate break-in was perpetrated to find information on the DNC coordinating with the radical, potentially violent VVAW, Kerry's group.
I'm with you on this one. Gas and rubber bullets and if injury is imminent for a police officer which would be caused by one of these low life's I say shoot them. If they want to be disruptive my garden needs weeding and plowing! Damn the IDIOTS!!! To protest in an orderly fashion is one thing but to endanger life and limb means the perpetrators must be dealt with strongly. There is no gray area when it comes to this.
I think you're right. Violence is upon us. We are about to be slaughtered in the name of peace, while Islam is given path to flourish.
The vermin should be crushed. They should experience the FULL FORCE of the law, like a ton of bricks.
Honestly, the myraid of non-lethal techniques and tools that have been developed over the last few decades have really been astounding, and we may see them put to the test here.
I'd give you even odds that one of those new VMADS might be on standby in the area. Or more than one...
