If only the AP and others in the MSM would INVESTIGATE Kerry 1/10th as much as they are the SWIFTIES there would be a level playing field. Can you believe they are looking at the NIXON tapes to find something on these guys. Unbelievable!!
Some have speculated, not O'Neill, that the draft of a swiftboat would have barred such a boat from getting near the Cambodian border on the Mekong, which I doubt.
Anyway, in "1970" actual incursions into Cambodia were permitted - but not when Kerry was there.
Oh, I dunno... what we strongly suspected during the Reagan years has become blatant in the Bush years--the mainstream media is solidy Democratic and any pretense of professionalism is perfunctory when the chips are really on the line. Kerry has all the credentials he needs in his ABB degree--Anybody But Bush. The editors, producers, and writers in the lamestream media will not let him down, when you can bet that almost to a person they are personally invested in seeing Bush out of office.
Of course, in classic projection, the more blatantly partisan they get, the more they will denounce Fox News, talk radio, bloggers, and Drudge.

Isn't that the truth. Every time there's a disputed claim by the swiftvets, the media sends out the hounds and goes to great lengths to find any morsel that will discredit them.
When John Kerry makes a claim, it's taken at face value and nothing is done to either verify or discredit the claim. Beyond that, even if all evidence suggests any certain Kerry claim is less than credible, the media shrugs it off, ignores it, and does their part to make the controversy go away.
