Kerry Supporters Begin Protest Pilgrimage

Something to Yak About – Kerry Supporters Begin Protest Pilgrimage
Police estimate that hundreds of thousands of protesters supporting John Kerry will materialize in New York City next week for the Republican National Convention. Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie told CNN Tuesday, “They're free to express their first amendment rights,” but made no bones about the allegiance of these protesters. “The fact is that the National Organization for Women and the labor unions and the anti-war activists are Kerry supporters. They will be protesting.” No foolin’ – the fringe element at NOW has decided to call their NYC protest a ‘Code Red’ whatever that means.

DNC Boss Heads For Tall Grass on Protesters
Talk about turning your back on your backers. Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe wasted little time in trying to explain that these Democrat constituencies were somehow not part and parcel of the Democrat apparatus. Really? Then explain how Nashville circuit designer Cecily Letendre decided against joining her fellow travelers to NYC and instead just donate money to the Kerry campaign. Meanwhile, the DNC has organized a bus tour heading to – you guessed it – New York City. ‘

And Speaking of Media Bias…
You know the drill – drop by Google News and enter ‘Ed Gillespie,’ then count the articles headlining DNC boss Terry McAuliffe. The liberal bias is sooooo glaring it’s almost embarrassing.

A New York Yak
The Yak and its staff of crack writers, editors, researchers and assorted gophers has set up shop in Midtown Manhattan for the week, so dial up RNC Radio Services now at 646-277-3860 or go Cellular Yak at 202-309-1364.

Talkers Profile – John Gambling, WABC/New York City
“In September of 2000, 77WABC proudly welcomed this true broadcast professional to host a new show "The John Gambling Show” on Saturdays. Now John Gambling hosts weekday mornings as well, where he is joined by Mayor Michael Bloomberg each Friday. This high profile weekly talk show is used as a platform for the Mayor to introduce and discuss the issues that affect our city each day. Even various media outlets make The John Gambling Show appointment radio.” (SOURCE: 77WABC)

The Final Yak
“Anti-war, pro-labor, pro-abortion groups plan protests outside the hall in New York and the (Democratic National Committee) is trying to distance itself from them," Dyke said. "They have been married for months and now they are pretending they have never met." (SOURCE: RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke, on Democrats trying to deny connection to NYC protesters)

Oh, that's just the color of the blood of so many aborted babies on their hands.

Tad Devine just said on CNN that Bush is finished.

Side Note: If my parents named me Tad Devine, I'd slap 'em both with a dead carp.

I'm beginning to get interested. The 1968 Democratic Convention with anti-war protesters being beaten by Mayor Daley's police, all captured on live TV was supposed to have been a defining moment and may well have cost Humphrey the election. But those anti-war protesters were anything but Republicans, just a bunch of SDS hippy types, and the cry was that the police "are beating our kids in the streets!". This time, I hope we know the game. I hope all TV cameras are on and showing everyone what kind of Democratic loons are massed against President Bush. It could well turn out to further tilt things toward Bush.

It was after Rascott finished his statement and then Tad came back with a Bush is bashing our vets and the American people will see this and Bush is finished. Something like that. You know, it all starts sounding like the teacher in PEANUTS/Charlie Brown when the Dems talk. BWABWAWA-BWA-BWAWAWAWA-BAWAWA-WAWAW.

The RNC should've given Tammy Bruce a prime-time speaking slot at the convention.
Tammy and I differ on one or two issues, but on the rest I'm more than proud to have her on our team.
I'd have liked to see Elaine Chou speaking too. Her, and her family's, story is inspiring.

If there is violence, and if it appears that pro-Dem groups are using brownshirt tactics to disrupt the Republican convention, you can bet the MSM will do everything they can to distance those groups from the Dems.

In 1968, it was the machine politics RATs (Daley et al) vs. the hippie RATs protesting the DNC RATs. And the Republicans reaped the benefits.
