Gas prices are notoriously high here in Boise. They are only about 15 cents more than this time last year.
This is a case of local gouging. Here in MA where the gas tax is absurd, the price is on average lower than the rest of the country. We have tremendous competition between stations. There's always a discount place to be found pretty close and I think that keeps the big guys from raising their prices.
