From Slings And Arrows:
In a moment of clarity (which I am sure will be short-lived) Howard Dean actually said something that made sense:
Every day that goes by without action to stop the Sudan genocide is a day that the anti-Iraq war position so widely held in the rest of the world appears to be based less on principle and more on politics. And every day that goes by is a day in which George Bush's contempt for the international community, which I have denounced every day for two years, becomes more difficult to criticize.I doubt he will ever come around to saying something to the effect of "uh, maybe I was wrong," but at least this is something.
Unfortunatly his fantasy world closed back in on him and left him in that Democartic LaLa Land as he accused the President of breaking the law with the Swifties. Calling How-weird your prescription is ready!

No, he didn't. The Sudan is a UN problem - no?
Hannity mentioned that Howie had another screaming meltdown today. Heard anything about that?
As pertains to the Sudan, Zimbabwe in fact any trouble spot on the planet the UN is useless. The little the UN has done in the past the USA has carried the heavy part of the load.
The UN knew that Iraq was in violation of its own sanctions , but they didny have the courage to call them on it. the UN knows aboutstarvation and genocide in the Sudan, the Un knows about Nuclear violations in Iraq and N Korea. they do nothing.
Amnesty International and the Red Cross are quick to jump on the USA for any minor violations, and the only reason for that is they have some chance that some idiot in America might believe them, sayiong anything about the other countries and their violations would take courage they dont have.
The fact that the UN isn't concerned with Sudan is 100% consistent with the fact that they weren't concerned with Iraq.
I find it amazingly BIZARRE that the UN has sent troops from RAWANDA to Help SUDAN
Print out and wear as a Campaign Button or go HERE to print.
I agree. The only reason the UN won't state reality is because calling this genocide a genocide would force them to intervene.
Sound like a pattern? (UN unwilling to state reality, wait for US lead)
Problem is that we can't lead in Sudan and show that we were acting in principle in Iraq (saving the Iraqi people). Why because we are to busy with Iraq while the rest of the world is standing by.
It wasn't a meltdown. He thought he was being cute.
He said (loosely), "We are going to win in Vermont, we are going to win in (name the state here-you know the routine)"
He got loud and had this freaky kind of grin on his face. I didn't hear the end of it though to see if he did his famous Yeargggghhhh.
