That's why I don't watch it anymore. None of it. I can barely listen to FOX with the exception of Brit Hume. All the networks have taken a Left turn.
Just my take.....
you forgot the < /sarcasm>
No, I think the media is liberal. It's how they make their living, by promoting their format, spinning it to liberal values (or lack thereof) and hoping people buy into their spin. I'm seeing more people pay attention to radio, thank God. Conservative audiences appear to rule there. Gosh, I wonder what Jane Pauley will have to say on her show?
Fat Mouth was much quieter, less obnoxious and even some what objective last night. He was either less drunk than usual or had gotten the hell reamed out of him for his disgraceful exhibition with Michelle Malakin. I know I sent him a email calling him to account for that episode. That was probably what reined him in.
Doug Brinkley looked like the man caught with his hand in the cookie jar and the old fossil Leftist professor with him was absurdly attempting to pretend that Left/Right were irrelevent labels. Buchanan was kicking some ass and wouldn't let Mookie Matthews shut him up. It was a very rare Fat Mouth performance which could lead the unaware to believe he is rational.
Any Vietnam Vet with half a brain knows he is a liar. Those folks supporting him have in all liklihood been bought off. How else can you explain them jetting around the country, living in high-priced hotels and living the good life...are they all retired and wealthy?? I think not. It would be interesting to see them interviewed without their "handlers".
Another interesting sidenote..apparently the two folks who spoke at the dumbcrat convention spent a whole total of 6 days..and there is increasing evidence that the "Rev." Altson is a total fraud.. There is a reason that Kerry won't sign the form 180 and release his records.
"Kerry is one dumb ass,, he keeps begging Bush to protect him from those nasty SWIFT boys"
Excellent point. Kerry the sissy is incapable of defending himself so he has to turn to President Bush to fight his battles for him. What does this say about who the better man is? Even Kerry seems to think its Bush.
I am so thankful for transcripts of the show. I usually just can't stand to watch Chrissie. I almost gave in when I heard that Douglas Brinkley was going to be on, but just couldn't do it.
Thanks for the report. Great perspective on Brinkley's demeanor.
I have a book (the one referenced in my vanity) that tells of an incident where an army LCU resupply vessel went up one river and accidently into Cambodia, where they were captured. After they were released, the Lt. Cdr. who was in charge was brought before Adm. Zumwalt in Siagon who demanded to know why he had gone past navy security and into Cambodia. The reason was that they had taken a route that had not yet been marked as prohibited. The book states that the US Navy was responsible for patrolling the river and preventing boats from crossing the border. After the incident, the Lt. Cdr. was to make recommendations for marking the area so that it would not happen again.
This account backs up previous information that entry into Cambodia was prohibited and that there were consequences for violating that prohibition.
(book reference is on this thread:

Chris Matthews said that he "could care less about Cambodia."
Interesting choice of words. I believe the correct expression is "couldn't care less," (which means "I care very little about something.")
When he used the expression "I could care less," he was inadvertently saying that he cared a great deal about the issue. (Freudian slip perhaps, or ignorance of the English language?)
Thanks for the correction. I have been waiting all morning for their transcripts from yesterday to come up. Particularly Scarborough's show.
I got Chrissie's comment from another post. Your right about "could care less" -- people just don't listen to what they are saying really means. Pretty soon, you and I will be wrong, and their usage will be correct. LOL
I don't watch FOX. But I assume the only ones to see the movie - Outfoxed - were those at FOX. I assume the film had far-reaching effect, within FOX. I didn't see the movie either. So, I suppose I'm saying I could care less, in either case. But, I suspect FOX was embarrassed by something they saw, and didn't have the intelligence to see past it. O'Reilly's on FOX. Case closed, as they say.
You are right I never watch either but last week I had the feeling things were out of control and he (like the rest of the RATmedia) would be beside himself with rage and frustration so I turned him on. I was right and he was foaming at the mouth in one of the worst demonstrations of bile and bias I have ever seen. A total shooting of himself in the foot- looked terrible for those he was "defending."
Then last night I wanted to observe his demeanor and sure enough he was as meek as a lamb and even critical of F'in and the idiots trying to defend him.
Just heard on the Rush show (Roger's hosting) that liberal reporters inside the beltway outnumber conservatives 12 to 1. Outside the beltway it's 7 to 1. We're outnumbered in the media.
Hmmm......interesting!!!
I agree completely.
If either candidate had a huge lead, the news nets would call it 50-50 just to keep our interest.
I am a Vietnam vet. As I recall, over 2.5 million served in VietNam and a much larger number served "during" the "Vietnam era." I would bet that, regardless of political inclination, no candidate calls me a "war criminal" get's my vote.
Of course most Vietnam era vets, have a wife and also voting age children and other relatives. sKerry's post Vietnam anti-war campaign has thus created 10's of millions of antagonists. Motivated antagonists.
I would say that sKerry has cooked his goose.
I thought I read that he was donating them to Navy Relief -- an organisation that helps sailors, mostly junior enlisteds, white hats, with troubles (deaths in family, sick children, that kind of stuff). Each of the services has this type of relief fund...
Where does it say where the donation is actually going, anybody know?

Hmmm. I wonder if he read Unfit...? I believe at the end of his tantrum, when his handlers hustled Michelle Malkin outside, he hung on to her copy.
Or maybe he's aware of the fact that he did his career no good at all, but gave her a considerable boost, even while denying her the chance to promote her book that FNC, which has her under contract, generously let her go on hardball to promote.
Maybe quiet Matthews is on drugs and screaming Matthews is not. Or vice versa.
