Mercury was a Zoroastrian, as the article states. I know a bit about the band, and he definitely wasn't a Christian.

I've heard the song is a mixture of Arabic, English, Farsi, and gibberish.

Mercury was born into a Zoroastrian heritage. What he practiced is another question. I am not saying he practiced Christianity throughout his life. But his work shows he definitely knew--probably in more than a passing fanciful way--about the Author and Finisher of our faith. :)
For a song to be inclunded on an album is no small feat. Even "The Prophet's Song" on their "A Night At The Opera" (their best album imho) shows a knowledge and sensitivity about the Judeo-Christian worldview.

Mercury didn't write the Prophet's Song. Brian May did.

Right. And nothing made it onto an album without Mercury's approval. His work, especially on that song, is indisputable.
