I would rather have blueberries, but the problem is that blueberries cost way more than my cholestrol medication.
I love blueberries. So, was greatly deflated - when learning that it takes around seven years for a blueberry tree/bush to begin to bear fruit. Heard that on a Food show, so if you know any blueberries that might not take so long....
Is why they cost so much???$$$???
This comany has some good wild blueberry products, including frozen one that can be used for smottheies etc.: Wyman's
Not only have they increased in price, but they haven't been looking too good the past year or two. Even out here in the Pacific NW, they've been pretty bad and the frozen ones are worse.
I know blueberries are supposed to be good for a lot of things, but it's nice, if they're going to cost an arm and a leg, that they don't rot between the store and your kitchen.
