Nobody is better at what he does than Lockhart, but IMHO it was a mistake to bring him in now.
Lockhart will only dig the Kerry campaign deeper into this mess.
We gave $$ last week and maybe I'll give more. My husband was visibly moved when he watched the ad today, as was I.
Those men have been so demeaned by Kerry. That's the wrong word but I'm so upset by all this talk about banning a book that I can't think :-)

I have been wondering the same thing. The way that the original Swift Boat Veterans' press conference was buried by the MSM was certainly disheartening. But lately, especially with the way that their message is starting to be widely disseminated, and with the Kerry campaign's flailing, inept, panicked response, and with the MSM now belatedly taking notice (even if it is just in an attempt to kill the messengers rather than digging into the real story), it is finally hitting home that the Kerry campaign is indeed suffering from the "death of one thousand cuts". I have confidence that the truth is sticking, all of Kerry's spin notwithstanding. Remember the post-convention bounce that wasn't. Even with all hands in the MSM working to "put lipstick on the pig", the fact that they're actually dealing with a pig is hard to keep hidden.

OK, you got us, the SwiftVets have absolutely no idea how to cut health care costs...
they dont even know how you're going to cover the psychiatric costs for your headquarters people and the ones over on DU by the time this is over...
For instance, one channel said the vets are upset about how Kerry portrayed them as babykillers, showed clips and sound bites of what Kerry said about them (chopped off ears, blah blah) and even interviewed a couple of anti-Kerry vets. Another channel stated that the ads are working, that over half of the public are familiar with the ads.
Kerry keeps adding and adding to his campaign staff. Pretty soon they're going to suffer from analysis paralysis and faction infighting and won't be able to respond to anything.
