Iraq - The Right Decision [Muslims for Bush]
Muslims for Bush ^ | undated | unsigned statement

IRAQ – THE RIGHT DECISION Let us make clear one fact, first and foremost – Saddam Hussein was a direct representation of what evil truly is, upon this planet. Many have stated that his threats should not be taken seriously, yet the number of Iraqi graves we have uncovered is evidence against such a sentiment.

Saddam Hussein’s record as a politician is highlighted by the fact that he killed his own people with chemical weapons and had further plans of continuing his rampage upon other people, mostly Muslims. Clearly, he was doing his best to destroy and kill the community of Muslims around Arabia, starting with Kuwait and Kurdistan, and expanding those attacks, would it not have been for our intervention against him.

Hussein’s record of genocide includes the Iran-Iraq War, which claimed the lives of around one million Muslimsviii, as well as numerous attacks against the Kurds, and an invasion of Kuwait. In particular, the chemical attacks against the Kurds are said to have claimed thousands of lives, including the destruction of over 4,000 villages!ix In that way, we are dealing with a man who has slaughtered around 1.5 million Muslims. In recap, Hussein invaded Kuwait, invaded Iran, chemically gassed Kurdistan, and according to reports, was planning coup against Pakistan. In all regards, he was the epicenter of instability within the Middle East, and his removal will help to create an infrastructure of peacefulness all over the Muslim World.

Plain and simple, any man who places high responsibility upon eradicating an entire culture of people deserves to be removed! For these men are evil dictators, who have a taste for human blood and carnage – anyone willing to remove such dictators, instantly wins our approval!

Bush won 55% of the Muslim vote in 2000, and I expect that proportion to be about the same in 2004...

I hope so, too. I've not seen any polls on this except for some CAIR surveys that did not use any sort of scientific sampling methodology.

That's a completely BS "survey" that surveyed an email list for CAIR.

I hate that the mainstream media practically ignores how happy the majority of Iraqis are to be free.

They're very enthusiastic and almost every single one I have met has gushed their appreciation for the U.S. and for President Bush.

When we wave at the Iraqi workers as we're driving around the camp, they get so excited and about fall all over themselves to wave back, grinning ear to ear.

Seeing their joy is heartwarming. If the U.S. Muslims could see this on the news, I imagine the numbers for Bush could go higher.

I've seen that too, but if their figures are coming from CAIR members, it's a worthless study.

On the Muslims for Bush website, they are conducting a contest for a 30-60 second commercial that will make the case for Muslims supporting GWB.

I hope they run it in Detroit (big Iraqi expat population) and LA (big Iranian expat population- they jokingly call it "Tehran-geles").

Was it my imagination, or were the Iraqi Olympians wearing red, white and blue neckties at the opening ceremonies?

I sense we are winning the war on the ground in Iraq, despite what our friends in mainstream media would have us believe. I also sense the overwhelming majority of Muslims here, and elsewhere, are rooting for us. However, because the radical Islamists rule by fear and intimidation, they are silencing the majority up until now.

Therefore, if we decisively defeat the radical Islamist elements, as currently typified by Al-Sadr, we will see more and more Muslims open up and overtly support our efforts, and ultimately Bush for re-election.

If we weaken in our resolve, this sensible majority will be cowed into accepting and ultimately supporting the radical Islamists.

Prolly gonna catch some he** for this one...

the "Muslim vote" is meaningless. Bush vitied Michigan Arab Muslims twice in 2000, and had Sununu meet with them 4 TIMES...Rove all but guaranteed this would win them Michigan. It failed. Arabs/Muslims are simply not a significant factor in American elections.

IARC reported 64% of Iranian-Americans will vote for President Bush this election.

Bush will win 100% of the decent Muslim vote. Kerry will take the others.

They sure were and I don't believe it was any accident. I've noticed the media has had nothing to say about it. Did the commentators mention it at the Opening Ceremonies? (We didn't see it...we don't see much TV here.)

Those neckties were a show of gratitude to the U.S. and Britain. I'm sure of it.
