Drunken Driver Pulls Cop Over, Asks To Be Arrested
POSTED: 9:39 am EDT August 10, 2004
VERNON, Vt. -- It was the cop who was pulled over -- by a drunken driver, no less.
Vernon Police Chief Ian McCollin said he slowed down to take a look at a man edging toward a stop sign. McCollin said the man rolled down his window and made an astonishing request. The man said he was looking for a police officer to have himself arrested because he was drunk.
McCollin radioed for backup due to the unusual nature of the traffic stop.
The driver, identifying himself as Bryan Condo, said he was also driving on a suspended license. McCollin said Condo blew four times the legal limit on an alcohol breath test. He said Condo was a perfect gentleman as he was arrested for second-offense DUI and driving with a suspended license.
McCollin added that getting pulled over by a drunk is one for the books.

Could this be a real life version of Gomer's "Citizen's Arrest,Citizen's Arrest,Citizen's Arrest, "

So apparently an honest drunk is easier to find than an honest democrat. Hmm.

Well, if people tend to tell the truth better when they are drunk, perhaps we should get J fn K drunk and see what he says. Having said that, that would also mean that Ted Kennedy is the most honest person in the senate! LOL

Anybody trying to do the right thing is hardly a Darwin candidate. Now, he screwed up and it would've been better had he not been driving. But in the end, he did right.

Darwin candidate? I don't think so. Through his drunken haze this guy knew what he was doing was wrong, and hopefully he'll receive a small fine, get his license renewed and clean himself up.

"radioed for back up?" Sheesh "Girly man" cops now?
Well to think about it, anyone who will take 10 men to arrest a jaywalker (a bit of a stretch here for humor) jump on the "perps" back with their knees right on the backbone, neck, and crotch, have no courage, honor nor self-worth in my book.
Sorry - just a fact.
Ps . there are still REAL Police with Courage, Honor, Integrity but they are becoming rarer, especially in cities where only those who could qualify as gorillas are hired.
Don't believe me? Watch cops while trying to remember what freedom was like 40 years ago! When being a policeman was honorable and respectable, when the police were NOT the ones who wore the BLACK MASKS to hide their faces (WHY??!!) when the police were not the ones dressed in full jungle camouflage carrying automatics when they arrest children under 10!
Seig Heil?!

It always cracks me up when people mention the "cops of yesteryear" all brave and honorable, ah, nostalgia.... hahahahaha... about as accurate as John Kerry's Vietnam tall tales.

You do realize that, by definition, a Darwin Candidate has to die.

Where did you grow up NYC or NJ, LA, Frisco?
Just because all slime congregates in those areas does not mean that there are LIVING IDEALS in this country --- look at the BLUE/RED map and you can see where these ideals still take hold and are lived by.
Interesting that the less freedoms, the more leftists (or is it the other way around?) Either way - the colors, the people, the slaves all match.

Actually it was a hologram of, Ted Jabba Kennedy (doing the right thing.)
To: curlewbird
He obviously am irerisboble drunk but at least he got him self off the street the dumb thing(apart from trying to drive in that condition in the first place) would have been to kept driving until killed someone.

People are people from day 1. Adam and Eve screwed up and it's been interesting ever since.
Good people and bad people have been cops in the same way. Throughout history. Except in the city of Utopia of course. But I guess they wouldn't need cops there.

I'm thinking the guy was a recovering alcoholic who fell off the wagon and was disgusted with himself.

Or otherwise become unable to procreate. Even idiots who die are ineligible for the award if they have already passed their genes on to the next generation.
