'SPY'SCRAPER VID-CAM BUST

August 11, 2004 -- A Pakistani who lives in Queens is being held in Charlotte, N.C., after videotaping skyscrapers in six major U.S. cities and making mysterious money transfers totaling $120,000, prosecutors said yesterday. Kamran Shaikh, 35, a father of three who lives in Elmhurst, also videotaped mass-transit systems in four of the cities and a dam in Texas, prosecutors said.

Shaikh, who has lived in the United States for 13 years and has used the alias Kamran Akhtar, is being held without bail on immigration charges.

He was busted in Charlotte on July 20 after Police Officer Anthony Maglione spotted him videotaping the 60-story Bank of America building — the signature building on the Charlotte skyline — and a 42-story building that used to be leased by the Wachovia bank.

When he approached Shaikh, the Pakistani became evasive, Maglione said.

"When I slowed down to get a close look at him, he started acting nervous. He turned away from me," the officer said.

"His statements were all over the place, from taking these videos for his brother to visiting around town," the officer added.

You can always spot the country yokels when they stare at the skyscrapers.

Shaikh was held for two reasons — he failed to leave the country after an immigration court ordered him to do so by July 12, 1998, and he lied to investigators about having a green card.........

WHAT A SHOCK! He ignored a deportation order. The INS is too stupid and lazy to deport people. They issue orders that they deport themselves on their own dime. I wonder how many kids he had here after being "ordered to deport" himself? What a farce!

So some investigators think this guy to be just a video buff? I wonder if some of his video footage happened to be found among the computer files of one Mr. Khan recently of Gujrat, Pakistan?

Hey, anyone ever see this website? It`s a Q&A BB for Muslims.

http://www.islam.tc/cgi-bin/askimam/cat.pl?c=Islamic%20Politics

Religion of peace? Sample question....

Q. I have a question about offensive Jihad. Does it mean that we are to attack even those non-Muslims which don't do anything against Islam just because we have to propagate Islam?

A. You should understand that we as Muslims firmly believe that the person who doesn't believe in Allah as he is required to, is a disbeliever who would be doomed to Hell eternally. Thus one of the primary responsibilities of the Muslim ruler is to spread Islam throughout the world, thus saving people from eternal damnation.

Thus what is meant by the passage in Tafsir Uthmani, is that if a country doesn't allow the propagation of Islam to its inhabitants in a suitable manner or creates hindrances to this, then the Muslim ruler would be justifying in waging Jihad against this country, so that the message of Islam can reach its inhabitants, thus saving them from the Fire of Jahannum. If the Kuffaar allow us to spread Islam peacefully, then we would not wage Jihad against them.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best

Mufti Ebrahim Desai

WHY do we let them into this country? Isn`t that sort of like letting a rattle snake into your house?

I expect the perp to recall his training and hire an ACLU lawyer to defend him on grounds of racial profiling or religious intolerance.

After carefully reading the article and letting every sentence sink in, I've come to the conclusion that there is no rope short enough or tree high enough for this guy. He's a covert enemy intelligence agent (spy), a money launderer, a financier of enemy combatants, a conspirator to commit mass murder, and a fugative from the law on immigration issues. Fair trial, gallows.

9-11 was supposed to be our "wake up call"

The problem with wake up calls is, you eventually go back to sleep. What we need is a grow up call.

What's it gonna take?

Taking time out to go pick up this fool, would have cancelled their computer game time at the office. Poor supervision is what aids and abets these failures in performance. Many times incompentent employees will receive a cash bonus incentive at the end of the year. This is the facade used for outstanding duty performance/over-inflated performance report. These reports are often done by the employees themselves because their supervisors are to lazy to do their jobs. It's called the government gravy train for some unappreciative personnel. Too many klintoon era employees are still hurting our federal agencies in this capacity.

Yours are the best comments I have read today.

There are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of illegal invaders from IslamoFascist hotbeds (Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc,) currently in the US, who have overstayed their visas, crossed in with false papers, etc. Granted, most of them simply dream of being NY cabbies or working in a 7-11.

But we are at war, and many (most, probably) of them are IslamoFascist sympathizers. A few hundred are al Queda operatives preparing mass murder.

Time for ALL OF THEM to go back to their muslim hellhole homelands.

I agree, Police Officer Anthony Maglione ia s a hero. He is one of those real supermen who achieve greatness amidst the seemingly mundane daily tasks of life.

For anyone who still thinks that Islam is one of the world's "great religions", they should spend some time at that BB and become re-educated as to what it really is: a socio-political system that controls every aspect of a mindless peoples' life, much the way fascism, nazism and communism did.

Great religion, my butt. Islam, The Cult of Horror™.

Additionally it would probably only take one beheading video. Having seen them all I would suggest the most recent. There is no doubt when you watch these that these people are sick beyond sick. To do what they do with such calm, glib facades, and then praise their god as they do it, truly reveals them as a death cult. The true horror is not so much what they are doing, but the manner in which they do it.

Two packs of Marlboros and a small coffee, to go, at Sheetz® Gas Station in York, PA = $9.11.

Working on a landscape estimate in MS-Works, this morning; hit Ctrl-semicolon to timestamp the spreadsheet = 9:11am. Hmmmmm.

Now, I'm getting freaked out.
