Foreign observers to audit election
THE WASHINGTON TIMES ^ | August 07, 2004 | Joseph Curl

Posted on 08/07/2004 11:39:35 AM PDT by asmith92008

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the largest regional organization in the world with 55 participating nations, will monitor the U.S. election on Nov. 2. Members include Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Spain and the United States. "OSCE members, including the United States, agreed in 1990 in Copenhagen to allow fellow members to observe elections in one another's countries," Mr. Kelly wrote. "Consistent with this commitment, the United States has already invited the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to observe the November 2, 2004, presidential elections."

but the group will not come from the United Nations, as some congressional Democrats had urged.

We could suggest they monitor Philadelphia and Chicago to learn how they get those magnificent 110% turnouts.

This isn't the UN, it is another organization. I'm still pissed off, but since they have no control over the election and they just monitor and report, I suppose it might help to cut out some of the dead democrats that rise from the grave to cast their votes.

THE FIRST SENTENCE SAYS --->"The Bush administration has invited a team of international monitors to observe the U.S. presidential election in November, but the group will not come from the United Nations, as some congressional Democrats had urged."

This is a dumb idea but if you are going to post something at least read the first sentence!

I have a feeling that this is more "strategery" and that the Dems have once again misunderestimated the Administration.

There is a *lot* more disenfranchisement via Democrat election fraud in this country than by anything the GOP has done or will do. This could in fact be the instrument by which the Chicago and Philadelphia (among others) election-rigging process is derailed.

I hope so, but I dont trust them to be honest. If we have a voter fraud problem why cant we deal with it?

It just seems as if this is giving some of our sovereignty up, a little but a bad precedent.

"Observe" and "audit" are significantly different. Observing is not an issue.

I nominate Philly, Chicago, New Orleans, south Florida, and every Indian reservation in S. Dak., New Mexico, and AZ. I hope they bring a really big group that knows how to count.

Unfortunately, my fear is that the rats want to bring in Metrosexual European Socialists to protest our election and cast doubt on the results if they happen to be results the Metrosexual American LibSocs don't like.

Not the first time: OSCE officials deployed an observer team to monitor the most recent U.S. elections, on Nov. 5, 2002.

Either he continues to do as the liberals say, or he's going to make them wish they hadn't asked for this. My first reaction is resentment.
