This should have gone unreported. Now this sting will be harder to use.

No, every time they do this, that is use undercover stings to catch bad guys trying to buy weapons (missiles, nukes, nuke parts, nuke fuel, machine guns, whatever) and then publicize it, you make every bad guy looking to buy think twice that his "supplier" might be working for the US. It prevents buyers and sellers for advertising publicly and, just like we learned from eBay, the web and infomercials, advertising helps sales.

Comuter files from AQ laptops have indicated that they use attacks to raise money. It's like they fight among themselves over scraps for living expenses and then when they attack a target, contributions skyrocket thru mosques and thru the community.

Sick people.

True, but it will also make it harder for the bad guys to launder money.

This isn't the first sting that has gone down:

Three arrested in missile-smuggling case

August 13, 2003

excerpt:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A man who authorities say plotted to sell a surface-to-air missile to what he thought was a Muslim extremist is expected to appear in a New Jersey courtroom today after being nabbed with two others Tuesday in an elaborate FBI sting operation.
