It is well established that the First Amendment allows for restrictions on "time, place, and manner". I expect these troopers would have dealt the same way with an anti-war group's truck bearing graphic images of the mangled bodies of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq.

Next time they should travel in a convoy, along with a car-full of Tom Hagen-like lawyers ready to file a show-cause motion in the nearest courthouse.

"Jesus-freak"????? Since when are the police entitled to yell names and intimidate Christians on account of their religion? Clear breach of the First Amendment in my view.

According to the two men, the trooper, Febbraio, informed Green "people should have the freedom not to look at this."

If these men were driving around with color photos of surgical procedures on their truck, the trooper would have a point.

But there is a holocaust going on in America right now, and these photos serve to alert the public to this unpleasant fact. This fact outweighs the public's right to be free from exposure to unpleasant images.

The driver may or may not be in violation of some law. But that fact is irrelevant, in absolute moral terms. However, the driver should be willing to pay whatever fine is applicable.

Sadly, the leftists have stolen our freedoms via the court system,
and that's where were going to have to fight to get them back.

Where's the ACLU? Those "warriors for Civil Rights - especially the freedom of speech/self expression......

Oh - That's right, they are even MORE in favor of the very NON-Constitutional "right" to abortion....

Any bets on how these "tolerant" cops vote?

This should be one heck of a law suit. These RAT b*st*rds can dish it out, but they sure can't take it.

I'm pro life, but if I saw a truck like that driving around where young children might see it, I would be very tempted to curb it and kick some ass. If I was a cop I would find anything possible to ticket it for, just like any other kind of public porn.

The Police have too much power and are abusing our Constitutional rights, this incident is a clear example.

In Newark, NJ, Fr. Peter West of Priests for Life, was thrown out of a Catholic School (St. Patrick's Pro-Cathedral) and down the stairs by a mob of Police, democrat operatives and union thugs with over 100 municipal and county police officers witnessing the crime and nothing was done.  This happened after the 2001 Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade, sponsored by the Catholic Ancient Order of Hibernians,  where the Grand Marshall, Catholic Democrat James E. McGreevey (100% pro-abortion record as State Senator) was campaigning for Governor.  Seems handing Mr. McGreevey a copy of "Living the Gospel of Life" was cause for Fr. Peter to be assaulted and thrown down the stairs?  This was a booklet written by the USCCB, bishops, with no offensive  pictures, just words.

We have rights so long as we don't bother democrats. Protest the war, fine, protest the NRA, fine, but just don't protest the Demons otherwise the Clinton Death Squad will come after you.

Was the patriot act passed in order to investigate terrorists or patriots?  Just wondering.  Don't take out those library books.

Standoff in Passaic, NJ:  Home, owned by Senior Citizen,  stormed by SWAT team over code violations (rotted porch and a broken window)

One year ago, Febbraio was arrested and charged with eight counts of harassment of a disabled state police dispatcher he referred to as "Gimpy," the AFA notes. One allegations stated Febbraio, using the home address of the dispatcher, subscribed to magazines such as Playboy and CosmoGirl!.

Febbraio described the harassment as a practical joke, according to the Hartford Courant.

They certainly have the right to drive their truck anywhere they darn well please, but he's got to stop doing crap like this. It's inexcusable.
