LAURA GIVES 'HELLISH' TERESA A PASS

August 4, 2004 -- First Lady Laura Bush last night said she didn't like it when Teresa Heinz Kerry said four more Bush years would be "four more years of hell" — but figures it reflects the pressures of getting heckled. "Well of course I don't like that," Mrs. Bush told Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor."

"But . . . it's not easy when your husband runs for president. I mean it's not easy for me, I'm sure it's not easy for her . . . It's not easy to be heckled. You know, no one likes that. And so I, I can understand how her reactions would be like they were."

Heinz Kerry cracked on Monday night: "They want four more years of hell" when pro-Bush protesters at a Kerry rally chanted: "Four more years." Her husband described the pro-Bush protesters as "goons."

Mrs. Bush also suggested that opposition to the Iraq war from France and some other European nations reflects "envy" over America's clout.

Laura shows grace under pressure. She is a First Lady the American people can be proud of.

All I can say is I enjoyed that entire interview and she looked wonderful as always.

Teraayza is a loose cannon. "4 more years of hell" does NOT reflect the "pressure" of a campaign. It does give us insight into the hellish future in store if the dismal duo somehow bamboozles America

Laura Bush is a class act. I saw the interview and "a class act" is the first thing that came to mind. What a contrast to foul mouthed Teresa.

Laura doesn't have to hit you over the head to make a point. Just her appearance, prime time, on the #1 cable news show and behaving like a lady - that's all she needs to do.

I have no doubt her interview tonight was because of the spectacle Kerry's wife has been making of herself. Laura needn't say a word. The contrast is the criticism.

And Laura mentioned it's rough being first lady as you are always being judged by how you look. At the end of the interview O'Reilly said something like "She looks pretty good to me".

Its just a hunch, maybe a gut feeling but Teresa Heinz seems to have an emotional or a mental problem. I'll give her a pass for now. Who knows , she may turn against the girly men.

I'm not sure it's a "problem" as in a disorder. Most likely, her money has helped her lead a very insulated life in which she hasn't received the normal feedback that the rest of us have when we do things considered somewhat odd.

Seriously, I don't think Teraaaaayza at all cares for Effin, and I really think when he is totally humilliated by a huge loss in November she will split with him. They're both showing no 'cool' under fire! Kerry is a fraudulent loser, and Teraaaaayza is just a nutball.
