I care far more about the children she left behind, than about the trivial "rape" charges. No one ever talks about the moral crime she committed against her husband and children.

Letourneau's first four children live with her ex-husband, Steve, to whom she was married when her illicit relationship with Fualaau began. They are now 10, 12, 17 and 19. Can you imagine how inadequate her husband must feel?

Nope, no sensationalism to that aspect of the story. These kids are probably in a living hell with all the national attention this is getting.
And, this kid gets an agent? Money to be made here for this guy.

They're all going to appear on TV and write books now.
The first husband and four children moved to Alaska, if I remember correctly. He tried to keep them far away from her and from the media glare of her trial.

He's only inadequate if he feels in his heart that he's inadequate. His feelings don't matter when it comes to what she says or did. They do matter however if he feels inadequate or if someone told him he was inadequate. Anger toward his ex-wife isn't going to help him get beyond feeling inadequate. As far as he is concerned, he's through with her.
I don't know why we as human being need to feel inadequate just because someone said we were. I, quite frankly don't know what he's feeling, but if he's crawling around in a deep depression in his life, he needs to seek help, otherwise, he should just forget about her, carry on with his life, and remain happy.

I give up, which one's the teacher, and which is the student?
To: montag813
When they come of age, I'm sure they'll realize just what a sick twisted pervert their mother was. Until such time, I will pray that these kids go through their childhood like any normal kid does, enjoying all that is that is a part of childhood.

Her four children she had with her husband will be more scarred emotionally than her young male paramour ever will be.

Well, it says it's a condition of her release, so, she signed off on it. 'I will do this if you let me out.' Kind of have her over a barrel on that one. She will be a parolee for three years.

This woman served her time, but she is getting out with no remorse, and now she is free to start over again. I fear we have not seen the last of her crimes. I pray I am wrong.
The only thing I can think about is how many more children's lives will she destroy before she satisfies her sick needs?
