The only way that's not his finger is if he holding some item out (like a rigid slip of paper) with his finger obscured behind it.
I'd buy that, but you're more likely to find Lurch pointing at someone or something (even in his sleep) than to have him assume the "missing finger" grip that you are suggesting.
Also, the "frame" or whatever, wouldn't be at an angle. iw would be parallel to the rest of the window frames.
Not to mention, it must be the frame to a pretty small crooked mirror, or the entire rest of the frame wouldn't be obscured the by bodies of Kerry and the Marine.
And that I have never seen a mirror inside a Wendy's. Advertisements, yes. Mirrors, no.
If Kerry weren't actually poking his finger at the Marine's chest, then that picture, blown up, would have been shown all over the place and explained away by sources much more reputable than a lone FR post several days after the incident occured.
