New York has been at Code Orange since 9/11 -- they've never reduced the threat level to Yellow in the nearly three years since the color scheme was introduced.
My friends in NYC says they are always on Orange Alert. This elevated status sounds about right, with the Republican convention starting soon.
What about Boston? After getting those poll results, I wouldn't be surprised at an increase of willing suicide bombers in Kerry-Edwards t-shirts.
