I've provided some good ideas for letters to the editor, but need further help. How can I find Kerry's ranking in the Senate for missed votes, overall attendance, etc? How can I find where he compares in his attendence record to other committee members on the committees he served on?
We need to show that he was a marginal senator on the political fringe, who obviously cares more about himself than the issues.
PS: I ran across this quote that is applicable to Kerry's Vietnam service: "What kind of battlefield commander would jeopardize the lives of his troops by having one of them make a movie of the combat experience?"
Keep up the good work.
A word of warning I give all Freepers about writing letters to the editor:
Do no post a letter to the editor on FR or anywhere on the internet BEFORE the letter is accepted and printed in a newspaper.
The reason is because editors use the same kind of plagarism software that colleges use. If they see the letter posted on FR, they will assume you did NOT write it but plagarized it from the internet.
Start with those that have good reason to research his record -- GWB's web site.

Amazing how little we hear of 19 years of service in the US Senate, and how much we hear about 4 months in Vietnam. You would have thought that he spent almost two decades in Vietnam, and 4 months in the Senate.
KERRY:
FORGET ABOUT VIETNAM FOR A MINUTE.
WHAT DID YOU DO FOR 20 YEARS IN THE SENATE?
.
No you can't discuss the rocord of any democrat party hack.
That is 'mean-spririted' and 'attack politics'.
BTW, don't bring up any facts about them either . . . that would be 'mud-slinging'.
