Kerry must be anti-business "big time." He obviously has something against peddlers.

From the Official John Kerry website's pressroom.

“Leadership requires that we act decisively to protect America. That is why we created this commission in the first place. And it is why when the commission issued their report it called for immediate action. Not talk. Not vague promises. Not excuses.
Peddling and back peddling is something America can't afford.
It will take real, bipartisan leadership and real action to protect America. The stakes are too high to treat this commission’s report as something to just go away. The threat will not just go away. The commission's recommendation should not just go away. It is time for leadership.

Very telling is that there is absolutely no recommendation to simplify and speed up the process of arming the pilots nor is there any attempt to identify potential terrorists by known physical and/or religious characteristics.

Political correctness will by why the next attack succeeds.

That is so good because I believe it's so true.

Liz and Fracas: Isn't this great?

To call Kerry's suggestions 'hare brained' would insult rabbits everywhere.

I want someone to hold the Senate Intel Committee responsible for much of this mess. They were asleep at the switch for years, not just since GWB took office.

I want to see the Intel Committee's NOTES. I want to know which Senator said 'let's get that evil Osama', or which one said 'we can't do that, the French wouldn't love us anymore'.

Kerry has no concept of the collateral effect. He operates in a complete vacuum.

"Kerry has no concept of the collateral effect. He operates in a complete vacuum."

You are so right. Kerry IS a complete vacuum, LOL. The definition of vacuum is particularly appropriate considering the 'space suit' picture.

Etymology: Latin, from neuter of vacuus empty, from vacare to be empty
1 : emptiness of space
2 a : a space absolutely devoid of matter b : a space partially exhausted (as to the highest degree possible) by artificial means (as an air pump) c : a degree of rarefaction below atmospheric pressure.

"We must act on the Commission's recommendations now, and keep working, without pause, until we have done everything possible to prevent another terrorist attack."

I'll remember this when Kerry complains about the first thing that Bush does. (That's racial profiling.....this isn't being sensitive to our allies.....this will just grow our Federal deficit.......this is just partisan politics.....we need to respect diversity....).

I guess his idea of service is to provide us with photos of sports equipment we couldn't hope to use, in areas we couldn't hope to visit, with vacation time we can hardly visualize.

Or did he?! Maybe he meant "peddle", and just wanted to be accurate...LOL! Sorry you beat me as today's "spell-check police"...can't believe the Kerry-ites could be so sloppy on an "official statement"...

Also occurs to me that maybe the "pedalling" referred to W's little tumble yesterday..."back-pedalling" makes sense in context (not true, but in "Kerry context"), but methinks the "pedalling" was a snipe at Bush being at the ranch...conveniently ignoring the fact that W is already on this, from there, while "himself" is swanning about the country on same lame-brained "Freedom Trail" campaign swing...SHEESH!!

methinks the "pedalling" was a snipe at Bush

My thinking, too.

IMHO, it seems that most Democrats don't have a good-natured, fun-loving, sense of humor. When they try to be sarcastic they trip themselves up in their own nastiness.

One time, Daschle meant to say pro-NMD folks were idiots, but he ended up acting like one.

Transcript of Tom Daschle 2001 press conference on a Missile Defense program

I mean
Every aspect of the debate and the consideration that is given this whole program
is... is troubling to me.
I... I mean... I...there's a disconnect there.
I mean...It just seems common sense....
I mean...there's no brain..
This isn't rocket science here...

Yes it IS rocket science....

that's the problem..
Hadn't thought about that..
As I just think out loud ....
as I meander through here.

(laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh)

That's the problem.

So let me get this: GWB announces that he is going to start early implementation of the 911 recommendaytions, and this jerknob starts spouting that GWB better move on this stuff.....does he want to try and take credit for what GWB does....

kerry is an asshole.
